Difference between yeast ?

Yeasts have been bred for different jobs.You would want a beer yeast because they work best with grains and starches if you are making alcohol.Yeast is cheap to buy,maybe $1.50.A good yeast with the right ingredients should produce about 5 gallons of 4-5% mash in about 4 days.Distill from there...good luck.
