Colouring hair?

hi, my hair colour is naturally mousy and i have blonde highlights put in, like yourself i can`t afford to keep going and having it done. So I have dyed my hair brown, I did`nt go red first just went straight brown and it has worked fine. I used garnier nutrisse as i have dry ends and my hair looks fab, it is so shiny and soft even the ends, good luck.
