Jock Itch???????????????

I think I have jock itch. I'm 14, and my and general pubic region are ALWAYS ITCHING. It bugs the hell out of me! What should I do? When showering, I take special attention to use soap and thoroughly scrub my , taint, and that general area yet it does nothing to help. I'm quite hairy down there, would shaving it help?
