Reform Judaism??????
That's hard to say since Reform congregations in the United States range from liberal to VERY liberal, as is the case with the synagogue I just left (to go to a Conservative Jewish synagogue). I grew up Reform Jew in Canada and have been to many congregations in the US since I moved here. A friend of mine in South Florida converted in about 7 months, but hers, while legal according to Halachah (Jewish law), was done with the most minimum of effort, which is now how Jews like to have people convert. Some complain that it is so difficult to convert to Judaism. That is true, because although we would like to raise the population of the global Jewish community, we don't want nor need anymore fair weather jews. So there really is no answer as to how long it will take. It all comes down to how much you have embraced the teachings, traditions, and mitzvahs of the Jewish religion, and through continued instruction and study with your rabbi you will together determine when you are ready for your conversion.
