What to do when your ex says he still has feelings?

ok well he split up with me 4 months ago (it got complicated) i got two random calls from guys i used to see out the blue and he got it in his head that i was cheating (which i totally wasnt) i changed my number and he said he still couldnt trust me and split with me.....i was heartbroken....we have been on off chating ....him contacting me more than me.....i still love him so i decided to delete him from my msn, once i deleted him he started texting me....i asked why he kept contacting me he said there was no point telling me.....i asked why.....he said there is no point....he then said he still had feelings for me.....i asked some ques about our split up and then told him i still had feelings too..... he replied with a :( icon....we have stopped chatting now and i dont no where to go from here....i dont think we will ever work as he didnt trust me but i do love him ?
