How can I keep my kitten from chewing?

We have a snowshoe Siamese kitten who began as a stray and is maybe 3 months old. He chews EVERYTHING - and, of course, the things he likes best are the ones that can least afford to be chewed (he has a particular affinity for destroying our headphones and computer/camera power cords). Hot sauce, citrus juice, even being *soaked* with water - all have failed to deter him. HELP!!!
